A location-based history game for families

SpiritWorld is a location-based game that uses a GPS-enabled handheld multimedia unit. SpiritWorld: Charlottetown is the prototype version.
The premise of the game is that the device can detect the presence of amphibious hordes bent on taking over Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The amphibians have discovered time-travel portals at strategic points downtown. The player must decipher clues to find the portals, travel through time to the appropriate period and, through skill-demanding games, defeat the amphibians.
